Well, just use the car in the daytime, and carry the headlamp in the boot. That way you can sort it at the roadside and avoid the wrath of Mr. Plod...

nah.... It's purely for the pod. /yes
wether it improves airflow/performance, not too bothered, I just think it will look cool/silly with this sticking out of the headlight !! :evil2: :evil2:

You need to follow my plan and make a headlight shape blanking plate for the hole where your headlight should be, then paint it body coloured. :evil2:

DErek - how about looking for a bust/cheap headlight, and using the back part as a funnel? Would fit nicely and look better IMO. Just a thought? Of course, I know you don't normally go for the subtle approach!

Derek,go search the scrap-yard's for an old capri with twin headlight's...take the plastic surround and the outer light, fit it in-place and poke your pipe! :rolleyes4 out the space for the missing light?
(may be worth mesuring it first though...to see if it'll fit?)

(i had a full set,not so long ago as i was going to try build a twin headlight set-up for my Galant..... :embarasse but i never got round to it as i threw them out by mistake! :rolleyes4 )

or - get a 2nd hand headlight, remove the high beam unit and get a hole cut in the glass for the pipe - that way retain indicators and side / main beam - super duper
