FAQ What Tyres ? (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8416)

I am particularly interested in wheel offsets and wheel widths. Any other feedback will also be appreciated. I will incorporate them in to the FAQ.

I'm using 225 on the 16" wheels.

They're a little out the sides but hardly ever see the AYC anymore, after the Pirelli I had before.

Excellent grip.... next set definitely Eagle's again.

Now, anyone have any ideas for winter tyres? (I know, I know - I'm just planning ahead)

Some added info if it helps. I have Oz Supperleggera's on mine with a +45 offset - and they wouldn't fit over the KAD 6 pot calipers without a spacer - so anyone thinking of upgrading the calipers needs to consider wheel size and offset

17" 235/45's on Bridgestone potenza GIII's with 45 offset on Enkei NTO3's.
Just fits inside the extended arches of the face-lift type S and over the Brembos. 35psi all round, was told to use 36psi, Mitsi keep dropping it to 32psi when they service it.

Love the tyres excellent grip. Though they get damn expensive if you go to 245... difference between about nz$240 each and nz$450, which is a bummer as I wanna go to 18"245's.

Looks good! Must have taken a bit of effort to tie all that info up.

Don't forget that some pre-facelift cars had 205/55/16 tyres.

I have 225/40 on my 18x8" BBS wheels with a speed rating of Y, i'm running 36psi all rond. I have Yokohama AVS sport tyres, they have excellent dry grip but not so good in the wet, i will be changing these for Goodyear F1's.
