I have asked a few places with rolling roads about a VR4 day. Most have come back to me saying that they can't cope with 4WD and auto boxes. I have had one positive reply though, from:

Tuning Japanese. (http://www.tuningjapanese.co.uk/)

Unit A, Holder Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, England, GU12 4RH.

We must have between 15 and 25 cars to get a price of £35 (plus the 17.5%). Can people register their interest and or suggest alternative venues here please? There is no point in talking dates if there is no interest. I was thinking this could be a good late autumn/winter meet as we are bound to spend a lot of time indoors!

Theres a powerflow exhaust place in Doncaster that Ive used before that host MLR days etc... and its Just off the M18 so easy access for everyone.

It will be very interesting to see what everyone (well all the "big boys") get !

I know AP Motors in Plymouth will do it for us.......but I expect it will be too far for you all too travel :embarasse

They would not restrict the number of cars to a minimum and I'm sure £25 cash per car would be adequate !

How about this one .. It's in Lecester ..

Asked about on the TUBONUTTERS website and apparently it can handle 1000bhp and is brand new.. Price is £30 a shot and he can do Sundays to ..

I wouldn't mind a go at that, so work permitting I'd be in.

/now look you VR boys - just stop your sniggering now!

Auto boxes aint a problem to people who know what they are doing.

I had a run on a rolling road at star performance in Kirckaldy a few weeks ago

guy used the manual selection to get the car in fourth and then did the run from there, took it to 121mph at 6590rpm. max power was delivered at 114 mph at 6220 rpm - 271bhp at the flywheel equated to 174bhp at the wheels with 235 ft-lbs of torque

not too shabby for a bog standard school runner

I'd be interested but Hamps is a bit far for me.
The suggestions for Doncaster or Notts would be more central.
