Wednesday is officially the hottest day of the year with temperatures in London reaching a record high of 35.3C.
But weather forecasters say the national record is unlikely to be broken today, although Wisley in Surrey reached the national high of 35.5C.

The London Eye was shut even though the temperature had not reached the maximum 30C inside the pods, a spokeswoman said. It was decided to close the popular tourist attraction "for the comfort of guests".

Was very hot today although where I was it wasn't quite as hot as yesterday, live near the coast so there was a nice breeze.
Still too bloody hot for me though.

It's been sunny and very hot again here today, seems to have got hotter as the day has gone on.

As for duvets etc.. sod that! I was completely naked last night sleeping on top of the covers.. probably too much info there.. :)

Reckon it's gonna be very hot again this Sunday.

just treat myself to a Karcher K 6.5 pressure washer. very powerful !! knocks kids over at 10 paces. not dissimilar pressure to your local jet wash. not cheap, but a lot quicker a cleaning the alloys than a toothbrush. it'll keep the kids happy & my cars clean till the novelty wears off !!

I bought a Bosch pressure washer a couple of weeks ago, excellent to rid your garden of flea ridden cats and the odd irritating ball bouncing kids are an ideal target too.

Can't beat them for washing your car but you need to make sure you have the correct nozzle setting or you will be an expert at stripping paint instead.

Slightly off topic. :D
