delay in receiving insurance policy

I've just called my insurers to see If I'm still covered !! /help
it's now 22 months since I bought the car, & i've still not got my policy documents yet !! WTF ! /grr
I dont even get any cover notes. " sorry for the delay sir, new computer system" yeh right !! :rolleyes4

How do you buy tax discs?

Seriously though - if you're involved in an accident involving the police, or if you're stopped for speeding or random checks, you havne't got the document to show at the police station.....you DON'T want to be in that position!

I'd cancel the policy and go somewhere else like Pace Ward, Lifesure or Sky.

I was getting cover notes up until about 6 months ago, so car tax was not an issue.
with moving house, it completely slipped my mind !! also, thankfully, not been stopped ! :embarasse
renewal due in 2 months, so I'll be ringing around. :thumbsup:
