FS UK Maybe!! VR4 Galant

I maybe having to sell my VR4 due to a change in circumstances.
I will know within the next few weeks if i have a new job, which will mean a 70 odd mile round trip daily!!
I have the chance to get a slightly more economical EVO 2 - so i can at least keep to a mitsi turbo. The fella used it for a slightly shorter round trip to work (45 miles) and got about 25-28mpg each week. All on the roads around here which you get poor consumption with lots of gearchanges and changes in speed.

If it was decent run to work then i would maybe keep it - the trips i have made for interviews have only given me 15-18mpg average (driving reasonably)!!

I can get a friends Diesel pug for £1500 and the EVO for just under £4000.
So would be looking for about £5,500 for mine.
Pug diesel for work, EVO for play.

As a (admittedly new) Evo 2 owner I can tell you they are very thirsty when you use the power they have.

I will need to sell to buy both, and cannot afford (unlike some of you!!) to go out and buy another car just like that!!
Already have an Escort TD for the missus, but she is too young for insurance on the VR4 (23) and i'm certainly not paying an extra 55 a month for a company that will insure her!!

Anyway, put the word about........... but hopefully wont have to, but must be prepared.

Most of you know what i've done to it by now anyway, but can put up specs and small pics........

I had hoped that we could meet other than at FTOOC meets!!!!
I was looking forward to at least comparing galants at JAE! Obviously you would win when you opened the bonnet!!
