I have just imported a Legnum VR4 and it came with a recaro drivers seat. I really want a standard drivers seat. Does anyone out there have one they want to sell, or swap for a Recaro Drivers seat. The Recaro seat is quite worn and part or it would need recovering.

Thanks

Mark

Well, I'm in the UK, and thinking of sourcing and fitting VR-4 seats and doorcards to my GLS... Can anybody give me a price, and is there anything I need to be considering INSERT INTO post VALUES (such as needing different seat subframes, etc)?

Thanks!

I would very much like to see the condition of your Recaro seat. I have a standard drivers seat. Do you have a photo?

PS: im in NZ too!
PPS: ever thought of using the NZ forums?

No idea about the subframes, but I know Barry INSERT INTO post VALUES (BraindG) recently spent over £700 for the Recaro's from a SCRAPPED VR4 !

They're very comfy, the only downside with them is there isn't any adjustment to lift the seat up, in other words the back of your arse is sitting too low which isn't a problem for normal journeys but on a couple of hour drive it gets a bit too much and your lower back starts to ache, I have no usual back problems what so ever! and I'm just over 6 foot tall.
Hold you in very well though as you adjust the sides so it clamps your body to stop you from moving from side to side.
