i no you can get mechanical warrantys with new vehicles or imported vehicles, but can you get them other than that, after reading the fineprint the warranty i thought i had says it can not be transferd so i am after one if possible? does any one know? /help

I THINK you get the AA to do one. I suppose they would have to inspect it first, and it would have to meet certian criteria.

Mine is with Lumleys, it cost original owner $200 for 24 month and then $100 for me to have it trasnferred after i bought the car.

I could get mine renewed by AA after my 3 years are up for about 1500 from AA.

yeah i gave them a ring today and 1 year waranty is around 1300, or i can get 3 years for around 1500 being a member. But cant afford that yet so ill just be carefull!
