A friend has just bought a GLS estate. It is missing the load cover. Anyone got one or seen one for sale (scrap yard, etc)?

I might have a grey one shortly - in the process of writing off (and if you ever wondered it seems it is possible to write a car off on your own drive. Don't ask).

Question (and I do know what you'll all say): do I get another V6 or go for a VR4? Could I live with the fuel consumption?......

Good find! Thank you.

I won't ask about the car being written off, but the VR4 is a good tool. We have often debated the costs of running, with regard to V6 vs VR4. Basically, double your running costs and you should have some change. Multiply by 1.5 and you'll find yourself short.

You can save several hundreds a year by doing your own servicing, if you are that way inclined.
