Anyone interested in a spare Throttle body? You can get them bored out to 63mm which will give you a 10% increase in airflow = more power :evil2:

how on earth do you go about boring one out?

www.rpw.com.au seems to do lots of oversized throttle bodies, that look to be quite good

I can fit a 2.5" (63mm) pipe inside my throttle body with a bit of play. Is the FTO ones smaller?

Hmm, thats interesting I will go and measure it in a bit as this one came off my VR4 engine and I replaced it with a bored out FTO one.

Unless they replaced them with larger ones after 1997.

You had me worried for a min, just been and measured it and the external bit is more than 63mm but the internal bit that fits on the plenum is 60mm
