Gidday, im trying to find what RWD gearbox will bolt onto a VR4 TT V6 motor to transplant into my L200 ute.
If no box will be a direct bolt on, what will be the best option to go to?

what will i need to do gear/dif ratio wise as well?

cheers
Andrew

You may want to look at a "Delica" gearboxes. They are the only rear drive mitsubishi's I know that are large enough.

your best bit is to choose the strongest rear-drive gear box you can find/afford, and modify the bell housing to suit.

May I suggest Supra for one....

The first mod you need only costs 20 dollars. That money will give you access to tons of info on what mods to buy..

So get yer membership sorted first mate!!
Well worth it....

Andrew,

When you've worked out what boxes will bolt to the engine, let us know. I'm interested in using the V6 in a different rwd application - although the atmo FTO version  would suit me fine. The lighter and smaller the box, the better for me.

Cheers,
Bryan.

No - I meant mating the fwd 2 litre 180bhp FTO version of the V6 with a rwd gearbox (Galant/Sigma/L300?).

What are the physical dimnsions (and weight) of your VR4 turbo engine?
