i saw a few online - they look pretty mean! i can't wait.
my vr4 is blue. if i can work out how to put a picture on i will . i ain't all up with the whole technology/computer thing yet.

only got a couple of subs, tweetrs, the sound department is more than enough however i've done nada to make her fly - not yet anyway. Getting married next march so all the cash is goin into that - believe me, everyday we pay deposits for different things for the wedding we look at eachother and think - shet that could've been a new ....... for bluey!!!! Bloody depressing actually! hehehe. Don't worry, after that whole 'getting hitched' thing is done we gonna spend some time on our baby - the car that is.

photos - um, i c if i can take some nicer ones - just gotta put some mesh on the front then i'll be done - for now. :happy:

Well his workshop did a candy purple job on sum evo or something, inside and out - it was mean! He got charged quite a bit. If you wanna go through the business then it's bloody pricey but you get a really bloody awesome job.
He painted mine over a weekend!!!!!! Yup! I couldn't believe it myself. Shet, he went hard. He takes pride in his paint jobs so he was pulling some major hours at the workshop. Of course he only had to pay for the materials!

He said you gotta get the paint, materials and then he throws on a bit of labour. He paints a lot of Muscle Cars (in magazines but with his bosses name! grrrrr)
Back in the days we had an old VR4 - smashed and nasty. He did a silver job with Prizmatec (dunno how to spell it). Wicked stuff. He had a Candy Red Commodore - mean! We have a little Mazda at the mo who is currently being neglected and will be getting a spruce up next year - maybe a little candy.

My colour is the Ford Blue but he tutued with it a little! I didn't want the same as all the Fords - plus it was FORD BLUE! Pooooooh the Fords!

If you're really truly keen he can have a jack at your car - see if it's a mission or not, and give you a price. If you want your Engine bay done it's gona be a bit of work.
If you want candy - it's gonna be pricey but you pay for an amazing look! Also remember - candy touch ups - almost god damn impossible. Soooooooooo if you want a candy job, don't go parking your car in the Pak n Save carpark!!! Keep that baby at home and safe!!!! Cover it in bubble wrap :)

Oh and can you make do without your baby for a little while!!!! :rolleyes4

Just choose a whole lota colours - even ones that you think might look ok. He can do a few test panels that you can look at and ponder over!!! :smug:

It's bloody terrible choosing a colour - just in case it looks plain and blah (although some like that look!)

Even if you want the same colour touched up - buffed and all the rest he can do that piece of piss!

He gotta see the car and then he can tell ya!
If you point out a couple of dents but there are others he will prob say 'nah' he's the full of perfectionist - he cant just do a few, he gotta do em all!!! hahahaha nutter :) you can go and check out the workshop, drop in, say hey and he can give you a rough estimate.

Oh and the kit sometimes ain't that straight.
My kit wasn't perfect so he smooths it all out and makes it look like a sheet a glass - jez, he don't even know I'm writing all this!!!! he gonna kill me :) hahahaha

If you check out the bottom of the forum page you will see a box that looks like the following box.

The posting rules can be changed on a per-forum basis. the forum the other thread is in has the IMG code ON, where you can see that this one has it set to OFF.

Don't know why exactly, could always ask Barry if there is a reason.

LOL everyone says that :D It's cuz the bumper won't fit standard NZ plates, and I don't want to bend or cut my p/plates. So I'm going to make an adaptor/extension thing when I can be bothered :)
