Hi, does anyone have a picture of the inside of an VR-4 estate with the seats folded down, just need to know if they fold down flat or if there's a part of the seat base that sits up behind the front seats. :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

nope the back seats dont fold down flat cos the base is in the way. the base is removable though by pulling 2 small levers on the left and right. when the base is taken out, then back seats can fold down completely flat! :D

hope this helps!

When I fold my seats down its very nearly flat only about 1 inch higher than the boot level
Without taking the base seats out plus you can put the base seats in the footwell
I can get all my fishing gear in the back and the rod hodels are nearly 7 foot
Cam batts are charging now so will take some pics later

Hi Nick, I know its off the subject.
Is that an aftermarket sunroof as mine goes right back over the passengers.:)

Not as far as I know
If large sunroofs are fitted the chassis has to be strenghtend so I'm guessing it was built as the car was being built

Thanks for the excellent pictures, very helpful, I have a Vectra & an Omega at the moment, the Omega is fine for load space whereas the Vectra just suffers a tiny bit because of the bottom of the the back seats folding forwards & sticking up, most of the Legnum/Galant's are a long way away from Cumbria so your help is much appreciated. Its very hard to get a fast estate with a bit of class.
Thank's, Phil

Yes my sunroof is at least twice the size of that!
