i picked up a vr4 engine for free.
it has slipped the cam belt and the timing is way off. is there any links or does anyone know how to set the timing back up on these? what do the little knotches on the cam wheels mean? there is no damage to valves pistons etc

Don't know but try the search button above... I'm sure it's been discussed somewhere.... However, it may be in the members section... :embarasse
If you become a member (£20GBP) then you will have access to all the manuals etc, I bet it's in there somewhere.... It's worth joining!!!

What kind of VR-4 engine? 4G63? 6A12TT? 6A13TT? could you be a bit more specific?
