Reading this....

I propose that if we are having just a meet and greet style meeting, then we should all bring our cars so we tlak and walk around them

gives me an idea of what wondering what would you as members like to experience on a club run..

One of my ideas is doing a paintball run
http://www.paintball.co.nz/gui/splash2.jpg
or going to Big Boys Toys as a group.

I agree with m_b_n on that one, paint ball would be fun as a group, as long as we don't make any enemies doing it ;)

I do intend to go to big boys toys this year on the Sunday, so if anyone else is intending on going, I'm keen to meet up with you.

We could also talk about other drive ideas, how about one to the Coromandel?

Yeah I've been to that course, it's not bad.

There's also one just off the Northwestern MW somewhere (can't remember the name of it, you can see it from the motorway though) which is quite good if they've got the outdoor bit open. /yes

CPR SPRINT
8- 10 People $60 per person
This event is designed to give individuals maximum interest on the track. In each of 4 races you start from a different grid position and in a different kart. The results are totalled to find a winner.
2 Laps Practice
4 x 15 Lap Races

thats 60 laps... gotta have as many races as possible...

or

CPR CHAMPIONSHIP
16 - 20 People $45 per person
You are divided into 2 groups and each group starts with 1 x 25 lap qualifying race. We then review the best lap times and the fastest group take part in 1 x 25 lap championship race, the rest race off in a separate 25 lap race

might be better

Hendersons pretty cool - heaps of speed down the straight, tight corners to drift around just crap if your a big lad/lass getting up and over the blinking bridge. (we all passed my big brothers hehehe) We went when the outside was open - the dew makes it slippery as can be : FUN!!!! /Steeringw

This sounds like a good option Karting.

As this will require financial commitment before booking, we need firm interest backed by $$$.
