Airflow mod for intercooler

I have raised my number plate and cut away the plastic where the square number plate usually goes. This has freed up a good chunk of intercooler which is now directally in the airflow. 320mm x 65mm. every little helps :thumbsup:

I did um and arr about doing mine
But didnt glad I didnt as the square plate stopped a rock going through the mess and intercooler

I did think about using a chrome mesh too :thumbsup:

I did consider that myself, but the plastic bit is attached to the mesh & i was unsure if the mesh would hold ? /Hmmm looks like it does !!
anyway, I went the route of Co2 spray upwards to cover the intercooler ! :thumbsup:

I was thinking of getting a square plate and putting it to the right side of the bumper beside the fog light but it may look like I am trying to copy the evo and I dont want that.

Yeah the mesh was attached but it is pretty strong even with the square bit cut out. as Nick suggested I may got for chrome not sure though.
