Guys,
Im currently looking at ordering some light weight fly wheels from Japan INSERT INTO post VALUES (just waiting on a price) for FTO`s. I know the FTO Gearbox/flywheel will fit the 6A13TT engine as thats the combination Ive currently got. What I dont know is if the standard 6A13TT flywheel is the same as the FTO INSERT INTO post VALUES (6A13); Im guessing it is.

If it is would anyone be interested in one? I will post more details when I get a price.

Also if anyone has their chassis number handy for a Manual VR4 that you could send me I can have a look on CAPS and see if its the same part number as the FTO.

That's my chassis number. manual VR4.
Any information on Mitsubishi part sharing, especially what works on VR4's from other Mitsu's would be great. Just so that you know, an RX7 INSERT INTO post VALUES (3rdGen) clutch disc works on the 6A13TT.

Just checked and the FTO fly wheel and VR4 fly wheel are different. However the VR4 does use the same one as the CM5A engine INSERT INTO post VALUES (4G93T) which I think is the GTO engine.

Ive got the very latest Mitsubishi CAPS CD`s INSERT INTO post VALUES (5 CD`s). So any part numbers you need let me know, or build dates of your cars.

Unfortunatly the guy I got them off told me not to pass them on, and as I get a lot of cheap parts from him I feel obliged not to copy them for anyone...sorry

OK, thanks. Useful to know you have the information, though.

Cheers,
Brian

"BTW ED you car rolled of the production line on 03/08/96 if your interested. "

Thanks for confirming the production date. My car was registered in Japan in 1998 and when I bought it in December 2001 the car had only done 13,500km's. Haven't had any problems with it.
6G72 is the engine code for the GTO, what car is the 4G93T used in ? Details please.

Quite unexpected, flywheel from a Lancer GSRINSERT INTO post VALUES (205hp) working on a VR4 that is 280hp stock. Could you tell me if the clutch disc & pressure plate from the Lancer GSRINSERT INTO post VALUES (CM5A) also works on the VR4 ? Or if any other Mitsu clutches work on the VR4 ? So far I have discovered that the 3rd Gen RX7 clutch disc is a perfect match for the VR4, but the pressure plate is different. INSERT INTO post VALUES (I'm using an ACT cutch disc right now on the stock pressure plate & flywheel)
Here are some Mitsubishi engine specs that I found.
