how do remove the speed limiter in a 96 type s vr4 legnum?

There are 2 different chips you can buy, probably the best one site on the gearbox, you snip 3 wires then wire this little box between them, a number of places sell them as they should be the same as for the FTO. Checkout eurospec2000 they should have some in stock (google thier name)

I have one of these it works well. white with green thread is speed sensor wire.

You could also fit and Apexi RSM which will do this too - costs more but has several functions like 0-60 times, bhp readings etc :thumbsup:
