well not really, but i just bought this bumper of trademe...

a bargin IMO at $99 dollars,
build up the bottom with a bit of fibre glass (ive dont it before)
and a coat of mitsi green and she'll be sweet :)


Anyone wanna buy a standard legnum or galant front with lip and spots?

well i picked it up today, and its alot better in condition and i expected, :thumbsup:

i can repair it myself...

can anyone recommend a good cheap painter??

$100 for the rear lip
$200 for the front bumper

check my sig for pics of course keep in mind ive had the front bumper for a while so it has a few chips n **** from driveways, carparks, etc

well i picked it up today

Well we were in Tauranga today too, not in the VR4 but in our mitsi L200 d/cab ute, picking a canopy for it off trademe lol

sh!t u got the same munted curve in the middle as mine, must be the way theyre made...thought the grill i put in the middle fvcked it up somehow...ahhh well, what u reckon bout the chic who sold it to u? she a nifty character indeed

she wasnt there, i spoke to her boyfriend, nice enough guy,

they had a couple of very hy-po dogs... they both managed to get under the fence, and run off..

yeh the hump in the middles a bit fcuked... but i cant be bothered fixing it....

my bumper is the original that the mould was made from,

ground down the cracks in it today, and re glassed it...
ill sand it during the week and bog it next weekend, then it'll be off to the painters.

are they just the factory ones??

i need to get some new spots, as my ST ones wont look good in there....

got any more pics of you car shady?? did you get the SSP skirts aswell??

my fella works out Henderson ways
dunno if they cheap but i'm sure he could do a cashy.
he's a pretty nifty painter!

yeah i got the skirts as well, didnt know if it would suit with the standard sides, u know how u see cars with a low as front and sides that dont match? was worried bout that lol so i bought them jus in case....as for the spotties, the dude that painted my car put those in so i think he just made some brackets for it and covered it with mesh, i just left my car with him for a day so he mucked with it, oh yeah theyre the factory ones, the thingy they were sitting in from my old bumper couldnt fit in...had to make brackets for the front to connect to the mud guards and for the sides so it could fit flush...

should look tight when u put it on...hey got any pics of the gauges and how theyre sitting on ur pillar thingy? did u use the bracket that came with them or...??

who did you get to fit and paint the kit?? how much did it cost ya??

yeh there just in the standard cheap autogauge cups,
ill get some pics up for you tonight.

yeh 2 holes per guage, one to bolt it on, and the other for wires / vacc hose to come thru.
