!! Noisy tappet !!

Just got home from a short run on motorway and could hear a tappet being a little loader than usual, sometimes when ive started from cold ive switched off and on again to solve the problem thinking it may be a oil spray bar blockage, thing is ive been on a 70mph run for a few miles and think i now need to take the car in to be sorted, has anyone had these done and how much, think Barry had this job done.

try to flush the engine oil a few times would be cheaper

i had engine flushed.. and it was a countless amount of times.. it only came back about 1000 miles later.... basically its an inherit problem with Mitsubishi.. you either live with it or spend 400 quid on getting it sorted... with the 3mm hole...

it drove me up the wall.. hence spending that amount of money on new parts... but its worth it.. it sounds like a kitten purring.. :D

stopped doing it now, gonna do a oil change soon anyway
