We would have been involved at JAE and other events (The 'Ring!!!!!) recently but we are still awaiting our new arrival, which is now overdue :rolleyes4

Im planning on being there but i wasn't planning on going with the club this time as i am concerned on gate crashing a VR4/sport line up with my nissan /pan . I know its not all members views but i know that it is some. I would be annoyed if i still had my galant and some git kept turning up in another make of car /Hmmm . I'll be over and involved with the club stand dont you worry but will get parking in the track action area this time.

There will be a couple of spaces on the stand, but no more cut price tickets!

Please don't worry about the details until next week - I am on holiday until then, so I will put up details on payment etc then. Feel free to start arguing about convoys and or places to stay the night before, but remember that we won't know the time slot for the track sessions for a few weeks yet, so it may be wise to wait until we do know.

If anyone knows nothing about this event and wants to know more, look back a year in the events section and read the rules for last years - I imagine it will be very similar to that! Also go to the first post and click on the link to their website - that will tell you a bit too!

Being a track virgin (in my own car with my own gear), can somebody explain what "taping up the headlights" involves. Also, anyone know places that sell helmets for over-sized heads :helmet: ?

Errrrm......you get some tape, and....well, you erm.....err....apply it to your lights :joker:

Seriously though, you can completely cover them, put two strips over in an X, or do what I did last year and do your own masking-tape Union Jack :thumbsup:

1: How do you want the payments ? Paypal them to you or a cheque on the day ?
2: Can you post the stand/entrance tickets for me, and the stand pass for Kevin to me, as we will not be at the Ibis
3: On page 1 it says you must have an advance ticket to get a stand pass - was that your rule or Trax ? If it's Trax then how will the three "stand only" people get in ?

2. The tickets went in the post this morning (07:30), at B'hams sorting office. There is a collection today, but I would imagine that everyone will get them on weds rather than tomorrow. I put Kevins ticket with yours, as I saw you were staying at the same hotel as he was.

3. Trax stated that they would not supply more stand spaces than advance tickets. They have not said that every car with a stand space must have an advance ticket. I would assume that as long as the tickets are purchased on the gate, there will be no problem.

One question though, I have the two stand passes marked T6...but what is the extra one marked BX for ?

The BX one is for the track time. I can't imagine we'll need those as we will be parking on the stand, not in the track parking area.
