Data from vbpicgallery Year Make Model: 1997 VR4 Legnum Subject: Type: Description: Just bought this VR4, Cat D write off. Looks like it's hit a high kerb, damaged all the rads. Looking foward to putting it back on the road and giving it what for round the Nurburg Ring. Does anybody recognise this car or know of its history? Repairs well under way now. Will add some finished photos soon. Still need a nearside foglamp and foglamp housing (grille). Just come back from the Nurburg Ring. Wow, I've just found out how good these cars really are!! Road holding is amazing, especially in the wet. Got it completely out of control on one corner, almost hit the barrier, but that was under extreme provocation! One of the guys I went with took a Carrera 4S. He was gutted to find he couldn't shake the Legnum off in power or handling! 18 months have gone past now and I've sold the Legnum to Anthony (Club member). Sorry to see her go but I think she's gone to a good home! Bought myself a 2003 M3 to repair. Not many cars can get past a VR4 but I think the M3 will! |
