    Confused replied to a thread info on a diagnosis code Engine 64 in Engine
    I have a theory, although it is unproven, which is that the solenoid located next to the boost solenoid, is responsible for raising fuel pressure during hot restart (by bypassing the normal vacuum feed the Fuel Pressure Regulator sees), raising the fuel pressure to the base of 3 bar, rather than the normal operating pressure of 3 bar ± manifold pressure.     Has somebody been doing some drifting in the snow? ;) Seriously, though, what's the problem with the pump? Have you held the steering at full lock at high RPM? Does the assistance now only work over ~2-3k rpm? If you give us some more info, we may be able to help you fix the issue, rather than you spending money throwing new parts at it :)
