Hi there Ibraheem, the under body is completely differet from VR4 to none VR4. you will have to cut the entire center section of the floor and fire wall out and fabricate the tunnel. you will also have to replace the petrol tank as it straddles the propshaft replace the entire rear ond of the car, subframe, etc. there is a lot more to it than just this, being quick with my response. personally i would not bother with the four wheel drive, and just create a VR2, this has been done before and...

you could include pics of underside of the car and engine bay with pic of strut tops sills ayc pump area etc. as rust is the big killer of these cars. if you can show there is no rust anywhere then it would probably help sell the car much quicker.

just a couple of comments for you Garry. your presentation technique has got a lot better much more flowing and confident. love the level of detail you go into it hits bang on the mark for me. your production and editing technique has improved a lot and it is very enjoyable to watch. you have progressed massively. your dad would be very proud. if you want a set of new injector seals for the original vR4 injectors, i can donate a set to your project as it is a good cause.

the issues i have seen on stadard internals is with head lift on the stock turbos this is due to the factory stretch bolt used for the head. swap them out for stronger bolts/studs and the issue goes away, well something else is next in line for failure , not found that yet. the other issue is killing cracnk and conrod bearings, i believe this is down to low end torque, or more correctly too much low end torque. if you sympathetically tune the engine to bring the torque in gently at the bottom...

Davezj replied to a thread Baffled sumps in UK Chat
i looked into sump baffles for the 6A13tt. the lower sump holds a max 3.4L of oil when you brim it to the join to the upper sump. the engine takes to full about 4L of oil. but after looking at the sump design it was clear that the dipstick end of the sump is fine as it will retain all the oil that push in that direction. the front and back movement of oil will hit the front and back walls of the sump and there is not really any where for it to go. the crank end of the lower sump could...

That is some interesting info Raj. are you running stock internals, or have you done pistons and rods? are the heads standard or have they ported. are cams standard? are valve spring standard? just trying to get a good gauge what is required to make approx 400whp. exhaust manifold bigger big turbo. (G25 -660 size) inlet and exhaust pipework for turbo fitment

from over seas now you will be paying world trade prices 10% ish duty and 20% VAT on to of the shipping and the curriers handling charge £8-£15 ish so yes it will be more expensive.

Good result the Raj, what boost pressure are you having to run to get these figures? Are you using custom exhaust manifolds or are you reusing the originals?

If you get enough people requested in the particular part, you can spread the additional shipping cost over the all the parts in the order and see if it is viable option. it is still probably much cheaper than buying from mitsi dealer. just a thought.

follow ARP recommended torque setting but ensure you use the torque lube arp supply with the studs. ignore the factory troque setting with a angle plus angle, that is for stretch bolt. the whole point of the ARP head studs is you do them up tighter and apply more clamping force. go to the arp website to make sure you have the latest info but you will find something like this below which tells you how much torque to use for the given diameter of the stud and the material the stud is made...

Blimey they have gone up in price. They used to less than £10 delivered. They are just a 3mm or so sheet of steel cut out shape. I could draw one up and start selling them for £10 with a heat shrink or plasti dip handle. Not that I going to by the way.
