There are very few active members on here now with V6 versions. Good luck in your search! I'll keep my eyes open.

Wow. I have to echo Tim, what a review! We are becoming more and more certain that an ev will make an appearance here within a few years. My job has recently changed and I have a V8 itch to scratch before I turn my back on petrol, but it is nice to see electric becoming more accessible and more exciting. The first Tesla I saw was a model S a fair few years ago at Goodwood festival of speed. I watched silently roll out of the pits and then silently disappear up the hill faster than a lot of the...

As Nev says, the new numbers are close to standard VR4. And also as Nev says, the lambda sensor should be in the downpipe after the join and other than wot it controls the fuelling.

Davezj just checked each injector now via the old school method of attaching a bulb to each one You can see it pulse and trigger so it is telling it to inject etc strong pulses Just can't get my mind around it now grr Think I may have to try another ECU? Also is there any hidden starter relays of some sort hidden behind the dash? As me owning a Honda they have one hidden behind the dash and that sometimes goes bad and doesn't allow the car to start.. @nickmann placed jumpleads...

Hello Phil! It would be good to see photos of meets. My chances of getting to Auckland are even closer to zero than normal at the moment but photos are always good. Whilst I wish you lots of luck this thread hasn't been posted on for nearly nine years - NZ activity has really slowed down. If you do get a meet going, did I mention photos would be good? And enjoy your Legnum! :D

From your previous reply, I am guessing engine bay fuse 14, ignition? And from your previous posts I now suspect something is not right with the alarm wiring removal.

    HI

I was told on Facebook to turn to you.

Now I'm looking for an adapter plate for the legnum to drive the Evo Clutch. Do you know where I can get them from, including the screws, etc.?

    I thank you

    greeting

    Alex

Hi Nick. Just need to pick your brains about auto box oil. Had my Legnum 6 years now. Donít know how old gearbox oil was when bought her but was clean. Iíve done 30k miles since and only changed trans filter every 10k. Am doing major MAJOR service right now. Rebuilding both turbos, cambelt and water pump, new rad and intercooler, wheel bearings, plugs, brake lines, fluids etc including filters. Box oil is now bit dirty so looking to change it. Was going to go fully synthetic but donít know if will suit the box. Will need to drain torque converter anyway as donít want to cut corners so have you any recommendations?
    Cheers
    Patrick

Hey, just wondering if youíre still making/selling the adapters to use Evo clutches on the vr4 galants. Me and my friend have a 97 galant vr4 and I was wondering if I could get my hands on one of those.

So finally itís the lash adjusters to source. I have read a lot about how much of an improvement the 3mm holes are compared to the standard 1mm. There seem to be a lot for sale for the 6A13TT that clearly state that they have the improved 3mm holes.

Do you or anyone you know have any information regarding if there is a
MD151382 / MD377560 version that has the upgraded 3mm holes. I imagine that it would be worth having those in the long run if they exist!

    Thanks
    J

I don't know about sourcing in NZ, but in the UK you could do worse than pri racing.
Remember that different versions of the same engine may need different lashers. The V6-24 and the VR4 use different versions, for example. (6A13 and 6A13TT)

Hi Nick. I read one of your old comments and I was wondering if you could help me regarding lash adjusters for the 6A13 V6 sport not the 6A13TT?

I believe the lash adjuster part numbers for the 6A13TT are
    MD171130
    MD359419
    MD377239

Like you mentioned the V6 sport lash adjuster part numbers are different. They are
    MD151382
    MD377560

I have sourced the rocker covers gaskets which appear to look the same as the 6A13TT but have a different code. Same with the cylinder head washers that have a different number to the 6A13TT and finally the spark plug seals which share the same code as the TT.
