The corrosion level is the biggest consideration on price 8n my opinion. Post pictures of the strut tops and slam panel in the engine bay, plus some underside photos. Your price range is pretty accurate but which end depends on the levels of orange.

Drive it home to mine from yours? Or back from the ring to yours? One of them is a better proposition than the other! Still interested though, it's about time I visited the Emerald Isle.

You could bring it to mine a month or two before the trip, then fly to me and begin the journey closer and in convoy? Plus I'll get to look after it for a few weeks!! :D /rally

I think UK Sport wheels were 7" wide with an offset of 45. The mounting surfaces are the same as the VR4 though, so 8" wide and an offset of mid to high 30's should work fine.

BCX I have a Launch X431 that can clear SRS codes on a VR-4 - if you need me to I can capture the packets easily enough.

There's a lot less info (here and otherwise) for the N/A models, someone probably knows more than I do. Before buying any wheels though I'd make sure rudimentary measurements to make sure they don't hit your suspension and whatnot, a regular tape measure will give you some idea. Here's a nifty calculator for comparing the new wheels & tires with the stock ones (though you will need to know the dimensions of the stock ones):

Assuming the V6 has same suspension geometry etc as a VR-4 (I have no idea) the maximum size I'd go for is 18x8.5" ET38. I've just got a set for my VR-4, but haven't had a chance to fit them yet as my engine blew.. I did get to test fit the rear without a tyre on, it cleared the suspension but it was quite close. Seems like it'll clear the wheel archers just about (Type-S with the fender flares). There's a whole thread about this as well with other people's experiences too:...

Mark. MPR234 on here I think? His brother had it after that. No idea where it went after Steve sold it.

I was told on Facebook to turn to you.

Now I'm looking for an adapter plate for the legnum to drive the Evo Clutch. Do you know where I can get them from, including the screws, etc.?

    I thank you

Hi Nick. Just need to pick your brains about auto box oil. Had my Legnum 6 years now. Donít know how old gearbox oil was when bought her but was clean. Iíve done 30k miles since and only changed trans filter every 10k. Am doing major MAJOR service right now. Rebuilding both turbos, cambelt and water pump, new rad and intercooler, wheel bearings, plugs, brake lines, fluids etc including filters. Box oil is now bit dirty so looking to change it. Was going to go fully synthetic but donít know if will suit the box. Will need to drain torque converter anyway as donít want to cut corners so have you any recommendations?

Hey, just wondering if youíre still making/selling the adapters to use Evo clutches on the vr4 galants. Me and my friend have a 97 galant vr4 and I was wondering if I could get my hands on one of those.

So finally itís the lash adjusters to source. I have read a lot about how much of an improvement the 3mm holes are compared to the standard 1mm. There seem to be a lot for sale for the 6A13TT that clearly state that they have the improved 3mm holes.

Do you or anyone you know have any information regarding if there is a
MD151382 / MD377560 version that has the upgraded 3mm holes. I imagine that it would be worth having those in the long run if they exist!

I don't know about sourcing in NZ, but in the UK you could do worse than pri racing.
Remember that different versions of the same engine may need different lashers. The V6-24 and the VR4 use different versions, for example. (6A13 and 6A13TT)

Hi Nick. I read one of your old comments and I was wondering if you could help me regarding lash adjusters for the 6A13 V6 sport not the 6A13TT?

I believe the lash adjuster part numbers for the 6A13TT are

Like you mentioned the V6 sport lash adjuster part numbers are different. They are

I have sourced the rocker covers gaskets which appear to look the same as the 6A13TT but have a different code. Same with the cylinder head washers that have a different number to the 6A13TT and finally the spark plug seals which share the same code as the TT.
