Newbie in the UK
Hi I’m Richard from Buckinghamshire in England. I’ve just acquired a December 1990 JDM VR-4 Which is in need of some love. Generally it’s in really good condition but the paint is very tired. I’m looking forward to being a part of this group.
Cheers
Rich

Hi and welcome to the club.
we dont get many 6G VR4 on here but they are lovely cars, what engine does it have is it the 4g63 (2.0L 4 cylinders) or the 6a12 (2.0L V6 6 cylinder).
the 4G63 and drive train is more like the mitsubishi Evo than the 8G VR4 and the 6A12 is more commonly used in the mitsubishi FTO in front wheel drive cars, in both normal heads 170hp and MIVEC heads 200hp form the Evo 8-9 ish gen of car.
so tech information about the engine option you might be better looking on evo and FTO forums when you know which engine you have.

/Welcome
Looks pretty original and complete! Always happy to see more pictures! /Camera :2thumbsup
Dave, the E38A and E39A 6G Galant VR-4s were all equipped with the 4G63T engine as then subsequently used in the early Evos 1-3 (and The Fridge!), before being spun through 180° for later Evos. That's why this often gets called an Evo 0. Factory output was 240PS. Would have to check, but think it would have had a TD04 turbo, not quite sure what suffix, maybe 13g or something like that!

Hi guys
This one is the “Evo 0” spec with the 16G turbo. Yellow injectors etc.
