I bring my own jacks and tools anyway for all of us to use, so I'm not really bother which day we meet as long as is suit others I can adjust my schedule. Only one thing is that meet could be organised a bit earlier than usual, say 3pm regardless of the day (sat/sun).
-
As the clocks will go back it will be getting darker even sooner, so earlier the better.

Well I have made some more Plastic pipe fitting pressure bungs and I shall be giving them away at the 2nd scheduled meet of the north west Knitting circle, I mean VR4 manly meeting, there's no cake and coffee consuming here.
Anyway the bungs will be just blank bungs and you can put whatever connector you like on it, be it a standard tyre valve or some kind of compressor fitting. It is worth having one in your tool box. You never know when you might need one.
-
Nice one Dave i can supply tyre valves by the case load as for coffee and cake just leave that to me ;)
-
so is this a all day meet then ?

i have a wee problem :( if we do this we need to start and finish early let me explain the best en shortest way i can... A few weeks ago i had a neighber complaining about the noise comin from my unit on weekends my reply was politly im a new buisness trying to make it work along with trying to make a living in a resession to which she sent a member of the councel from the town hall over noise pollution when he arrived i demoed exactly what i do and what noise i create and he was a very happy gentleman and coulden't see a problem buzzing like a bee. unfortantly tho he did remind me the there was only planning permission for 5.5 days meaning that i can only work half day saturday so ive been shutting at 2.00pm to evaid any more distruption to the neighber till this afternoon their was no problem at 1:50 she came round again bearing in mind i was only changing a tyre so i bluntly said to her how im trying to make a living i have no longer got a compresser in my unit im running off the gararge next door which has been their longer than her house !! i have built the walls up with stock tyers to try and inserlate the unit ajainstent to her garden i don't make that much noise my tyre machine is new/modern i really can' t see her problem just like the man from the town hall
can't either.
I really want to make this meet happen peeps but we will need to rap up before 2pm we do have the excuse im not open for buisness but im not sure were i stand with that one lol.... let me know what you think please
-
Morning meet is fine with me I can be there any time, 9.00am onwards for me.
And I can bring tools as well, I might take the opportunity and fit my wideband innovate kit. And maybe another few gauges.not to mention a little pressure testing.
-
I'm fine with morning as well, was planning to fit FMIC and then do boost leek test/Hmmm, all that seems to be fairly quiet jobs to do, so noise issue will not be a problem as long as we dont shout to each other :soapbox: WHERE IS MY @£$%^ SPANNER !!! :iloveyou:
-
thats great stuff im not botherd about noise before 2pm more the merryer hehehehe we also got ramps so we can get to the lamber sensor for your wide band Dave
fmic is easy as pie lol
-
Count me in peeps, thought i was working this day but i was lookng at the wrong month on the calender :upsidedow
Will be a good opportunity to stretch the LPG pipe along the underside of the car without lying on my back methinks!! Will my boy be able to come along? He's 8, well mannered and obsessed with car detailing so may have questions to ask..
