Can anyone tell me if the VR4 washer jets are different to those on the 8G Galant? I have recently switched my regular bonnet to carbon and the holes are significantly smaller. I've temporarily cut the existing washers to fit the holes but they are by no means perfect! Ideally just want something that clips in rather than having to delicately silicone gel them in place. Or is this the norm?
The bonnets are the same - I can't believe that Mitsubishi punched different holes in the bonnets depending on the trim level of the car. I'd imagine that your carbon bonnet has non mitsubishi holes.
the after market bonnet holes ar'nt correct, haven't been on any after market bonnet i've ever seen.
you can either buy new washer jets that are held with a nut from the bottom,
or take to the holes with a needle file like i did to reshape the holes to fit the stock squirter's
Thanks guys, I've gone for some cheap universal nut-style ones off ebay. Hopefully they don't look too bad
