lunch break...
I had to go to halfords, i didn't have a 19mm socket that was long enough to get of the downpipes... also i ran out of wd40...
k, passenger side suspension in bits, driveshaft is out, the exhaust is off.. all pipes are off.
after lunch removal of drivers side drive shaft, and propshaft... then, the moment of twuth..... removal of transfer box, and gearbox... /help
That hoist must be to support your cajones - they must be HUGE :D???

well thus far only prop is off, im trying to get drivers side side suspension appart.. but its being a right pain in the nads..,. so quick break, regen and try again...
ive also labbelled all nuts and bolts.. (on paper sheets stating what they are) taken rust off battery shelf, cross member and propshaft.. which i have now resprayed a nice black colour :p
once bettys back to take over from fay duties ill hopefully get the transfer box off.... then shower and off to dinner with birthday boy.

well, i tried to keep going, but the heavens opened up... i am now completly soaked... ill wait 30 mins see if it dies down a bit, however i think thats all i can do for today..
I must have spent about 30 mins alone trying to get the prop shaft off /pan /pan :rolleyes4 and about 1hr trying to get the nut of the drivers side srive shaft!! argh... /help
Anyhoo, prior to the heavens opening up, I managed to get everything off the car, other than the transfer box and gearbox. ive got a few more tips, and additions to dickytim's article.. as I found some easier ways of doing things, so ill add my points once the jobs completed..

How hard is it to get the driveshaft nut off?? Not TOO hard i hope, got mine to do on sat!
