Newbie looking for tips and knowledge

I'm a newbie with a Galant VR4 '98 now running at 190k and I'm the 3rd owner when the unit arrived in Finland 5yrs ago, I'm inlove with my car and would go the extra mile to have it shipped to my home country when she's already ready to retire but due to import restrictions and sky high import taxes + requirements in my home country, I think the only ones who can go with me are the engines,tranny,suspension, the ayc and subframes and especially doors and essential harnesses.

The only question I have in my mind at the moment is, would the engine im taking home would fit the engine bay of a base galant with a 4g63 stock engine?

The main issue with putting the 6A13TT plus 4WD drivetrain into a FWD Galant is that the transmission tunnel is smaller and the fuel tank is humped in the middle to accommodate the propshaft. Otherwise, it does go in fairly easily. Have a search around the site for 'VR2'.
