Hi Guys....I am returning to the fold

God how I miss my old VR4, so much so that I am buying another. I have 2 in mind, a white 96 with gold wheels and looks lowered from a place called Ebony and Ivory motors in Scunthorpe, or there is a burgandy Ralliart on pistonheads for what looks like a very good price, but, I can't put my finger on it, but, it just dosn't have that aggressive stance other VR4's have, maybe it is the colour I don't know.

Anyway, look out for my new purchase post soon :), then its back to buying boost controllers fmic's and just having some good old stick to the road like glue fun :)

search for sperm car , lots of info on the red car on piston heads

Also look around on here for E&I , some good feedback

As John said E&I seem to have better cars than most.

the white one with gold wheels at ebony and ivory, has been forsale for a long time, i was looking at it last year. but i do know that E&I do only import and sell decent cars.when you go up to look, ring up and make sure the car is still there. i went to look at a black manual saloon, rang up in the morning and it was sold :(
but i ended up with a cracker of VR4, from Ancientofmu....

Ah yes, a lovely looking car that one, but, at 9K it is a tad more than I plan on spending.

I bought a car from ebony and ivory and now wouldnt touch them with a bargepole, they were good until it went out the gate , when something went wrong they had the car in for a month and didnt touch it, until i said i was going to TS , even then I had to source a gearbox FOR them.
When on the phone enquiring about it , they said "it gets done when it gets done" and were really quite rude, and even accused me of doing wierd things with it. It went in with 2 faults and came out with 1 which they were well aware about , I won't take it back to them to rectify this because I now know who would rectify it and they have told me what they ask him to do. As i am quite local to them i have also heard a lot of bad press about them.
Sounds like I'm having a go , but at the end of the day you pays your money and you takes your chance.

I work in Scunthorpe and was at E&I last week.

They still had the white car then (and a black one, a maroon one, a mauve one and loads of silver ones) but .....the pic's on the ad don't tie up with the interior of that car .....for example there isn't a screen in that car just a gaping hole.

They were also saying that the gold wheels were probably going onto the black car as they had someone interested in doing that.

Given they would't discount the 3 cheapest cars when I went the mauve car at £4,495 was the best deal there.

Oh also the maroon UK car you mention was still for sale one Monday too. Though the lack of service history has put me off that one.
