LHD Headlight conversion
So my Legnum Vr4 is on the boat here to Canada, and i have been getting parts in to get it ready for it.
One of the big things needed are LHD compatible headlights, which there are not many options. From other threads i have found online Non US Galant headlights supposedly fit. So I ordered lights for an EA0 which look correct, but now i have them and the brackets do not appear to be the same as well as the wiring is wrong. will these even fit once my car gets here or should i send them back?
Anyone know of an alternative that will work? Or can the factory lights be modified to aim correctly for LHD?

If I remember correctly, UKDM cars had 2 piece front lights - the main headlamp unit was glass (and some were electrically adjustable), with a separate plastic indicator, whereas the VR-4 has single-piece plastic (and were not electrically adjustable).
Also, I'm pretty sure that they are a direct fit replacement.
Not sure about EUDM LHD ones though, have not seen any in person!
However, if you're feeling brave, I'm sure that the actual reflectors in them are the same fitment, so take a look at one of the threads here about de-tango'ing or fitting projectors (ie here) which involves putting the lights in the oven to warm up the adhesive that holds the front to the back and prising them apart.
Then - you could simply swap over the low beam reflectors from the LHD lights into the RHD lights, stick them back together, and away you go.

I used EUDM LHD reflectors for my JDM headlights, and everything was bolt on.

The left hand drive version of the headlights were used in europe on galant and on Berlina models.
You can get second hand Berlina ones in Spain for around 120 EUROS. but nit sure how much shipping and customs charges would be.
There are aftermarket taiwan led anel eye ones for the USDM american galant, but they are slightly less wide!, so uni need to use the USDM front grill as it is wider than the JDM one.
:)
The taiwan ones are available for cheap shipment to USA.

Are you just trying to find them to pass inspection?
I'm in BC by the way. I've had a couple of these cars.
