V6 sport suspension Refresh - Recommendations?

Good afternoon all,

The suspension on my Galant Sport could to with an overhaul, and I will be looking to buy parts and most likely giving it to a garage to fit while they have it to clean up the subframes.

My example sits lower down due to aftermarket springs (approx 40mm I think, the coils were yellow in colour once upon a time) and I'd like to keep it at the same height.

So my queries are:

- which manufacturers do aftermarket (lowering) springs and dampers for the Galant Sport V6?

- where do you all get bushes, suspension arms etc from?

- are polybushes available for Sport models?

Hi Jamie,

If I remember correctly, most of the front suspension arms are shared with the VR-4, but rears are different part numbers.

I get all of my genuine Mitsubishi parts from Viamoto - give Mike up there a call, and he should be able to get you a nice list of all the bits you'll need!
