I've already signed this. Something similar is going on in the US too.
Signed. Seen this before though, I think it more relates to circumventing emissions control systems for more power. So the removal of DPF's EGR's etc

Emissions can cover anything though. Obviously exhaust, ecu, tune, boost, air intake, but you could also argue that changing the ride height of the car changes emissions. Certainly wheel/tyre size does - you can see that on manufacturers websites. So what modifications can you do that you can guarantee don't change the emissions?
I know you've signed, so not trying to convince you, but just pointing out the potential land slide from this if it goes through.
Cannt sign because im an alien ...
Does this mean that I can't paint my plastic wheel trims pink?
Seems par for the course, government doesn't want you to own anything. If you can't repair it or modify it, you don't own it. Seems to be the main reason they're pushing towards EVs as well, make people rent cars that have to be replaced every 10 years because the batteries are dead - no-one buys them, all rented.
I bent a wheel on my backup Corsa and was amazed how much all the major car companies have gone out of their way to stop me doing a minor wheel swap - neither mine or either of my parents cars had a jack or tyre iron, the Corsa had no spare wheel.... only managed to change it thanks to 70 odd year old neighbour who still had tools.
Signed from here in Aus, if we're all under the queen, i fail to see why i can't try to support you guys and gals up there.
