Powering wideband lamda, ignition switch wiring diagram.

I'm planning to install a wideband o2 sensor, and I want to wire it so it's only on when the engine is running. I was thinking of powering it from the ignition on wire of the ignition switch, with a relay that activates when the starter signal is turned on.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ignition switch, or better sugestions of how to wire it?

There's no "engine is running" signal as standard. You'd need some kind of latching relay if you wanted to pull from the starter signal.

So long as you don't sit with the ignition switched on, then start the car, just letting it be powered with the ignition switch will be OK.

I used a piggyback fuse tail from the fusebox for ignition on signal to relay? Common on ebay and saves too much wire chopping. Corin
