Hi all, haven't posted on here for some time but it's with bad news. For those who remember me vaguely I've had a 2000 Legnum VR4 for a number of years ( plus the wife's 2000 VR4 saloon - Brad knows both cars ).
Anyhow the Legnum has come to an end, leaking oil from many places beneath the engine. It's still running ok, but needs topping up frequently and the fix is unfortunately not really cost effective. Pull it all out, rebuild etc etc so I have decided it's time to move on, .. to another Mitsi of course. Outlander maybe or Ralliart Lancer.
Fortunately the wife has a company car now so I'm driving her VR4 in the mean time.
But I don't want to sell the Legnum to some poor sap to find out it needs some major money spent on it so thought I would first offer it up here either whole or as a parts donor for another enthusiast to either fix or use as appropriate. It's done just over 140,000 kms and is still registered for another month or so and driving. Recaro seats, momo wheel all factory fitted, POd filter and big bore exhaust. Suspension was replaced with Munroes about 4 years ago. Radiator replaced with new about 2 years ago when the top tank split It currently has 17"Avanti rims and Eagle F1 D3 tyres on about 2 years old, still warrantable but I'd be taking those off to sell separate and I'll refit the factory 16" on. Wheels would be available separately. I need the $$ to buy something else with.
I've already got some interest from other parties about buying it but not sure of a fair price either. Some advice would be appreciated on that.
