*** 2005 Club Events ***

The events the club will be officially attending this year is as listed below. If there are any I have missed, or any you want to add, then please let me know! Also feel free to help organise if you have the time and inclination!!


2nd-3rd April. The Fast Show, Santa Pod. A club stand and RWYB.

21st May. Japfest, Castle Coombe. There will be a club stand and hopefully two club track sessions.

29th-30th May. Rotorstock II, Stratford. Involvement depends on requirements, but there should be some action available to those who want it!

18th-19th June. Japshow, Santa Pod. A club stand, 2 days of RWYB, overnight camping etc.

22nd-24th July. J.A.E., East of England Showground. A club stand at the biggest display of Japanese cars in Europe. Friday to sunday, with camping available.

4th September. Trax, Silverstone. Club stand and track time.

24th-25th September. Japanese Performance Car Show, Sandown Exhibition Centre. Club stand and free workshops.

9th October. Japshow, Santa Pod. The showdown. Already looks to be the biggest meet of the year, with months still to go!

Late October? CVR4 National meet. Details to be unravelled through the next few months!

I am leaning towards October for the National CVR4 meet. The reasons for this are that:

1: Gives plenty of time to organise it
2: Most people are back off holiday
3: Show season is quieter
4: Weather is still usually ok

I am concerned about it clashing with the second Japshow - not just in terms of timing but costs.......if it would put people off attending one or the other.

Anyhow, can you add it to the above list ?
