They are a very good idea i ahve them on my coilovers. just make sure they are loose on the spring so the material does not get caught between the coils of the spring other wise the spring will cut the material.

Shame you (she!) isn't selling them, I need to do something to protect mine once the car's sorted.
I use ACF-50 spray on my coilovers, have done for years and it keeps them corrosion free. It was designed for use on aircraft originally to keep them corrosion free but is now available freely. Lots of bikers use it as all their gear is exposed to the elements.
