"With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead."
i read it somewhere that this site existed but couldnt remember nowt except it was run by castrol
2 mins of digging on their site and i found it
although lubesinfo sounds dodgy!
They use a database called OATS, the same one as we use but theirs is tailored to their products, ours just gives the specs required.

"Finishing second means you are the first person to lose"................ (Gilles Villeneuve)
which brings me to the question... since i live in a hot climate (80 degrees Farinheit/around 28 degrees Celsius is a cool day to us) which kind of oil should i use in my VR-4 why i ask is because all the reccomendations i have found are weights we cant get
15w-50/10w-50 that sort of grade, what do you have available to you out there?
Cheers
Simon.
I would personally stick to something within the manufactures recomendations; if you look in your book you will quickly find it. A 50 weight is outside of this and dependant upon your year so might be a 40 weight ! Just make sure you buy the very best oil you can get, if its not Amsoil then a real full synthetic such as Mobile 1 will have to do you and stick to the manufactures recomended drain periods too. So maybe a 5w-30 5w-40 10w-40
If you have a problem with getting Amsoil just contact me on 07949 944523 email don@performanceoilsltd.co.uk or web at http://www.performanceoilsltd.co.uk/

Alternative recommendations, Engine, Petrol: <-10°C, 5W-20 (exceptions: GDi); <10°C, 5W-30; <20°C, 5W-40; <20°C, 5W-50; -30°C to 40°C, 10W-30; >-30°C, 10W-40; >-30°C, 10W-50; >-15°C, 15W-40; >-15°C, 15W-50; >-10°C, 20W-40; >-10°C, 20W-50
I don't think you'll need a 5w or even a 10w in The Bahamas.
Cheers
