Hi,
Can someone tell me what the two items in the engine bay photo I have circled are, please? I believe 'A' is the TCL unit. Is 'B' ASC?

Can't help you sorry, but I have a question of my own.
Does the ECU normally sit facing that direction? Mine sits diagionally.
Yep A is the traction control
Not sure about B - but you could be right
H
ASC top right corner? Maybe just fuses
a= tcl vacum
b=fuel pump resister
NO More VR4 for me, well ive still got the 6G
Robotnik, I know what this post is about
My car doesn't have the TCL thingee, and as fair as I am aware, if a VR-4 has TCL, then it automatically has ASC as well.
Do any of the facelift cars have TCL or ASC? Anyone know?Originally Posted by bradc
it appears that TCS was standard on pre-facelift Type-S VR4s - not present on pre-facelift VR4s.
Facelift - Type-S (option) - Type V (not present)
I think it was very rare on facelift cars, does anyone here have a facelift with ASC?
Or for that matter TCL? The feature list for this 99 Legnum says it has TCL, but you cannot tell from the pics if it really does.Originally Posted by bradc
