Avon ZZ3's - shouldn't these be one of the choices?, they're quite popular.

I've had those ZZ3's before, and unless they have had a major redesign, I didn't like em. They wore out so quick it wasn't funny!!

Bad points: Useless in the wet or the cold.
Good Points: In the dry on a warm piece of road, the stick like glue!, and due to their hard compound they hardly ware at all!
"With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead."
It looks as if nearly half the club has F1s. They must be pretty good.
We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
Falken ZIEX ZE-512 215/45/17 - Quite impressed for a 'budget' tyre, low noise, good rim protection, at current rate of wear they only look to last around 15k though

Vredestein Ultracs 235/45ZR17 - excellent tyres in the wet, and I get 20k+ miles out of a set

jap original spec yokohama ice tyres 205 /55 16 i think dangerous as hell, only rated to about 115mph and lethal in the wet.

Toyo Proxies T1-R 205/55/16, had em on the SAAB too, fantastic value at £56 a corner!
Dunlop Direzza 235/45/17 right now.
I've used Toyo Proxes, Dunlop FM901 & the best so far...Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
Toyo Proxies T1 225/45/17
I've currently got practically brand new Goodyear on the Galant at the moment - the last owner must have recently changed them...
However I had been running Michellins for the last 17 years. At the time back then my friend, who's a motoring journalist, said Michellins last longer so I gave them a try and on my 6G Galant I was getting 40k-45k miles out of a set where as the standard fits I had managed around 30k miles on.
I'm interested to see how these Goodyears perform.
Nice separation eagle f1 from other michelin.
