    Handles nicely!

I had my car serviced today at Mitsu/Marshalls Cambridge.
They are quite a good bunch!

The car now handles really nicely! It is hard to describe but it feels 'nice and tight' when turning, and I can't get enough of it.

Although the major thing done to it was an oil/filter change, what do they do to the suspension to get this feel? Is it just tightening a particular bolt or what?

If I lowered the car would this 'nice and tight' feel be even more amplified?

    Cheers,
    scc

Could be as simple as checking the tyre pressures? don't really know what they get up to at mitsi, but tyres can make a big difference to the feel of the car.

If you find out what they did let us know.

Change a power steering belt? I remember mine feeling a lot "tighter" when it was changed.....not quite sure why that makes a difference though.

Maybe they did the balljoint recall whilst they'd got it in?

I know the feeling you're talking about and it's a combination of tyre pressures being spot on (yet to find the perfect spot with the kumhos, with the P6000s it was 2.25bar front, 2.1bar rear) and tracking/alignment being correct.
