    HI All

    HI Guys

I'd thought I would introduce myself. I'm Dan (not dolph as the username suggests) I'm from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, which is now famous due to the Buncefield explosion

Not really had many dealings with the legnums or Galants but have always liked them and would love to own one but sadly I think the running costs may be a little too much seeing as I am entering a mortgage soon

Anyhow I have been more familiar over the years with Nissans, Having owned 3 Nissan 200sx's

The first one (S13) got squashed by a horse, long story

The second one (S13) got modded quite a bit, although never being extremely fast it was running 32psi through a T3 turbo which was off Saphire cosworth 4x4.

The third one (S14a) got extremely modded had a rebuilt engine, which I did myself The car got 325bhp at the wheels (384bhp flywheel) and 362lb/ft or torque The spec of this car can be found here:- http://www.sxoc.co.uk/site/rides/ride.php?Member_ID=421

I am in the process of taking the 200sx back to standard to sell here to fund my mortgage so am currently driving around in my newly acquired BMW 540i which is alot cheaper to run

I recently have been working on big brake kits I have 4 types of big brake ktis currently available/being finalised:-

    Nissan 200sx S13,S14,S14a and S15 315mm conversion
    Nissan 300zx 315mm conversion
Skyline R33 GTS-T 330mm conversion and (being finalised)
Skylinw R32 GTR 330mm conversion. (being finalised)

Comments can be found here on the 200sx kits:- http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=189129

I am also working on a Subaru Impreza 330mm conversion, Mistubishi Legnum 330mm conversion and slowly trying to do an Skyline R33/R34 GTS 360mm conversion (very complicated though )

Anyhow I think thats enough of me jabbering on for the moment.

    So Hi

    Dan

    Nice one Dan

Hello and welcome to CVR4, I'll be keeping a keen eye on those Big Brake kits of yours mate, i'll have a look at your links when I get home, always good to read about other people spening money on their cars.

It will be interesting to see how your kits on the Legnums go, 330mm drilled and/or slotted discs, with 6 pots at the front and 4 pots at the rear sound great to me

Cheers guys and thanks for the warm welcome

Does anyone know any legnum/galant owner near or around Herts, that would be up for helping me develop a big brake kit for you guys

    Hi Dan,
I'm in Wembley/Harrow and often out towards that way. I just bought my Legnum VR-4 a couple of weeks ago and immediately found my standard brakes a little weak, so would love to be part of new kit..

I bet there was a disappointed sigh from all the female CVR4er's and the CVR4 widows when they read that and realised you're not the muscly Russian from Rocky IV I think you've missed a trick there!

Try Pezza as a local member.

Also try a search as I know there was a recent thread about and brake kit for the pre-facelift cars, possible started by Rally205.

    Hi Guys

Sorry I haven't checked in recently, been very busy :-(

Anyhow I have some 4 pots on the way to me so will hopfully be ready for a trial fitment :-)

Stuey, if you don't mind lending me a hand that'll be great :-)

As far as costs go I would estimate that a kit would be about £600. They will be second hand caliper though. But will come with stainless steel hoses, new brake pads, new discs (330mm) and the fitting kit

    Is that any good?

    Dan
