Windows XP users:

notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

add the following line

67.15.48.59 clubvr4.com www.clubvr4.com

this will make all your www.clubvr4.com references work

downside of course is if we shift servers again, things will stop working... but for now, this works

I think that, although it has lapsed its still pointing at the registrar's domain lapsed page, which is why you get DNS records back for the domain - they're just not the correct ones for the server that the site is hosted on.

I'm no computer nerd so I need help with typing in the command prompt..

I keep getting "catalog name incorrect" for the last part \hosts

but when I write "dir" in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\
I get

a list which includes

hosts
hosts.msn
lmhosts.sam
networks
protocol
services

but neither of these seem to be a catalog.. so how do I get to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
from here??

you just open it with notepad. so click the start button, select run and type in: notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
