    Your Pet(s)

Don't think we've had a thread dedicated to people's pets before, so I'll kick one off.

Here is Jack (Golden Retreiver) and Jessie & Shelley our two cats:

And here's Jack after his operation to remove two legs

KieranCorp Towers is a pet-free zone, we're too busy and live too close to a main road to consider Mogs and Dogs.

Alex's parents have a Standard Poodle (Tilly) and used to have two Siamese cats (Poppy and Dennis). Unfortunately, both cats are now prowling around the cattery in the sky - they both had a good innings though.

Dennis can be seen here - Poppy looked almost identical to Isaac's cat. Little Madam that she was!

My Dad owns a Rough Collie - the dog of choice! We've always had them, ever since I was little. However, Darwin is the most inert, stupid collie I've ever known!

Pete - your dog and cats get on well! No chance of a photo like that with Poppy, Dennis and Tilly!

Bern - What are Burmese like? I hear they're like Siamese but not quite as vocal.

Have had various dogs in the past few years.
    1) Collie / Fox Hound cross. Fantasic animal, great pet, good guard dog,
a complete nut case. Knocked down and killed in the road.
    2) Irish wolfhound / black lab cross about the size of a small donkey. Another great pet but was caught sheep worrying so he had to go.
    3) German shepherd / collie cross and a Japanese Akita / corgi cross. All our dogs came from rescue homes so had unknown tendencies. These 2 developed
a pack instinct and attcked anything that came in sight of the house. Tried
everthing but couldn't cure them. They were great with the family but
    heaven help any visitors.!

We have now just got 3 cats Grumpy old Ginger who doesn't like his picture taken and these 2 youngsters. Just farm moggies but great fun.

Actually Kieran, we don't have pets because I've got enough on looking after you, without having to look after them too!

    Just to clarify

If I said you don't need an alarm clock as long as you need to wake up at 5:30am every day, would you know what I mean...

Lovely cats - affectionate, very intelligent and inquisitive, love water - mine comes running everytime anyone cleans their teeth and has a bit of a bat in the basin (Can be a bit of a pain as he likes to play with the mucky stuff in the catch tray of the plantpots too )

My mom has two siamese, and they don't make nearly as much racket!

One of the best breeds I've owned - will definately have another.

He's getting a bit long in the tooth these days, but this is Sally the hamster (he had a sex change op last year when my niece couldn't pronounce his name properly).

Here's the dogs, Marshall is the Irish Setter looking abit confused after my mother insisted that he should try on a dog bandana thing! Buster is the Jack Russell, technically he's mine but I can't really keep a dog at mine since I work strange hours now and again, he'd be left on his own for too long. Photos taken on my phone so they're not the best quality!

We used to have a Border Collie called Muttley who I got when I was 5 and ended up being my dads dog, he died about 3 months after my dad died in 2004, by that stage he was 16 and fairly old anyway, but he was very sad after my dad died and was a completely different dog.

We had two purebred cats, Showpaze and Opal, which are 'ocicats', Showpaze went missing about a month ago, and now we just have Opal. They are amazing cats and we have had about 20 cats since I can remember, lots of different pure breeds and imho these are the smartest yet. Showpaze in particular was amazing, he would rub his head on your chin and hands until you started to pat him, then if you stopped he would put his hands on your hand, look into your face and meow as if to say why are you stopping? If you kept on pulling your hand away he would start to put his claws out They are also great hunters and have caught rabbits, possums, doves, swallows, magpies and have even tried to attack our chickens

We have just got a couple of golden Laborador puppies, they are both completely nuts and get each other into tons of trouble, I doubt we'll ever get them trained at all.
