    6th gen vs 8th gen

This may seem odd but whats faster over a 1/4 mile? I see on youtube lots of 6th gen VR4s that are really fast, or have they all been modded some you rekon?

AFAIK there are 6th gen cars running under 10 second 1/4s. I have never seen an 8th gen run under 12. This is for two reaons, IMO, the smaller of which is the cars weight in the first place. The biggest reason (by a long way) is that the 6th gen has a multitude of off-the-shelf upgrades for adding significant power. We don't. Find a shop that does forged internals off the shelf, or turbo upgrades etc. for the 8th gen.

if it were stock vs stock,
the 6g would just have it down the 1/4mile,

throw them on some twisty roads the 8g would have it.

Not sure if I agree with that, Manual 8G's have 280hp and weigh 1480kg, while a Manual 6G has 220hp and weighs 1410kg (some sites say 240hp, I don't really know the real answer)

    It has been done!!

Me in the 6G (Borrowed from Zedy1) and Braindg in the 8g....

    The 6g won!

I will however point out that I almost killed myself 4 times on the way to the show whilst trying to keep up with Barry. It did not handle at all well, but it ran 13s dead all day long!

I think you mean 13.8's? As I beat you that day, in my 8g automatic lumbering estate, with the weekend luggage on the back seat!

    So your point is.....
