    ISO Stereo connectors

Just a quick query to save me pulling the whole dash out, does mitsubishi use a standard connector interface to speakers and power from a head unit?

Generally i tend to buy a new head unit and then buy a made up cable thing from halfords, so I was wondering if i can walk in halfords and say "cable thingy please" and then they'll supply one.

I suspect its more gonna be the case of them looking blankly at me when I say Galant VR4.

    Anyone done this?

Nope, depending on what age it uses a Mitsubishi connector, do a search on the fourm and you should find the model number of the converter.

Both my GLS and VR4 had/have a Mitsubishi block connector which is not ISO size. For the GLS I bought an ISO adaptor plug to fit for £7 at a local audio fitter place. Halfrauds wanted to charge me £25 plus a week for it to be ordered! The VR4 had an ISO fitted when I bought the car.

Yeah - UK supplied Mitsys already come with the ISO adapter cable in my experience. Japanese jobbies don't necessarily.

I think my adapter was about £10, so Atik has a good supplier there!
