The ex-prefacelift facelifted prefacelift Legnum VR4

    Confused? I am too...

Anyway, this here is my 96 prefacelift Legnum VR4 with a facelift front end and prefacelift rear end. The perfect combination

    Note, the black Mitsubishi logo
I am currently missing the 'VR-4' badge in the front grille, but only as I'm planning to get some white reflective stickers cut to fit on it so it shines at night

1997 Mitsubishi RVR HSGR : 2.0 4G63T, 4 seats and the seating position from a truck
2009 Ford Mondeo : 2.2TDCi, 4 wheels, some plastics, some metal and some seats

Hmmm. A Semi-Fail Lift. Interesting. Actually I'd say that increases the 'Sleeper' value as whilst the front is more aggressive, it retains the proper tailgate - Just like the non-VR4 UK estates did.

Get any ideas about besmirching the rear of that car however....

You'll be happy to learn that will not happen. I prefer the prefacelift rear end. The only thing that will change is the rear bumper as it currently sits a little highon the left and the tailgate catches it on the way down!

Fitted a 'small' number plate to fit in the recess but not hang too low so as to obstruct the intercooler. Velcro'd in place with a 'full size' Jap square plate in the boot for when/if any officials (read: police officers) disagree with the plate

The pronounced bonnet really does set it off. Loving the looks of the car

Well, at least the front half of the car looks right now!

I saw it in the flesh this morning, and being a bit occupied it took me a few minutes to work out why the front of the car looked so much better!

    It gets a from me!

    Looks very nice Atik

The rear end especially Not like those Fail-Lifts that look like a Subaru Legacy from the rear
I just followed a P Reg legacy for a coupla miles in the Hilux, and just kept reminding me how much the the Fail-Lift rear end looks like it

LOL, it doesnt have to be red The one fitted on mine WAS silver, THEN white and NOW silver again. Got a few layers of paint now to give it more protection hopefully, hehe

Just find a FL bumper and get it sprayed to match? It does need the grille and bonnet to finish the look though.
