Attach tags bug

Sorry - I wasn't clear with the issue.

The picture should appear as part of the post, not as a separate attachment, as the [attach] tags are just showing as text.

Wayne, if you click to Edit my post, you'll see that it has the attachment number between the [attach] tags.

That's probably a different issue Nick ... as I have not copied over the attachments that people added on the old server in the last few days yet ...

Can you point me in the direction of the thread please?

Thanks Nick ... yep, that is indeed a seperate issue to the one Nev has found. I will try and take a look at both of these problems later today.

I have copied over the attachments in that particular thread ... if anyone knows of any other threads like this let me know. I will fix the ones that I find as and when I find them.

ummmm i cant see any pictures in any posts atm ??

i can see all avitars / website graphics and signature pictures but attached pictures wont work for me in any posts old or new

Sorry to bring this back again but I think the original problem as described in post 1 hasn't been fixed or has returned............

Cause I too am having this problem with the uploaded image not appearing in the correct place in the post but appearing at the end of the post instead................

What we get is "[attacch] [/attacch]" appearing where the image was supposed to be...................

I've deliberately misspelled 'attach' above so it will display in this post BTW.

Yep, noted this is still an issue.

I suspect that this issue is actually quite wide-ranging, as it has also affected old posts.

For example, my 'replacing the aerial' post from last year now has this bug: http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showpos...1&postcount=10

This may also be the cause of the PDF file 'missing' from the brake upgrade article in the members' area, but when I edited the article, the attachment was there, just not visible in the post.

Hopefully this will help Wayne with the troubleshooting.

Well that's very interesting as it doesn't affect all old posts, which may or may not help find the cause of this..............

See this thread with lots of images with captions and they are still (for me anyway) showing in their correct location in the post........... weird.........
